Coming in July, St. Paul’s United Methodist Church will feature “The Gospel According to Jimmy Buffett,” a sermon series based on the songs of “St. James of Pascagoula.” Each Sunday, we will feature a different Buffett song performed by Curtis Campbell, and the sermons will talk about the spiritual lessons you can glean from them, if “you have ears to hear,” as Jesus said. We’ll have songs like “Come Monday,” “Margaritaville,” and “He Went to Paris,” plus a few more.
